Well, finally managed to put the blog up.  I decided to use BlogEngine.Net for the software.  Since I'm a C# guy, the open source platform was just right.  It's simple, light weight and fantastically extensible.  I'll also be using things like Silverlight on this site, so you might want to have that installed if you want to take advantage of the multimedia stuff that's going to be posted here.  Just doing my thing to proliferate M$ proprietary software! :)
